Pandemic Studios and EA have announced that The Lord of the Rings: Conquest has new downloadable content up today via the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace. The “Heroes & Maps Pack” contains two new multiplayer maps, two new hero arenas, and three new hero characters. It is available now for 800 MSP or $9.99 on Xbox 360 and PS3.

The new pack lets players choose from three new heroes, Gothmog, Boromir, and Arwen. The players can use these new heroes in two new multiplayer maps, the lava fields in the Battle of the Last Alliance, as well as the forests of Amon Hen. The new maps work with all three game modes, team deathmatch, capture the ring, and conquest. The DLC also contains two new hero arenas Minas Tirith and Weathertop, to use these make sure to download the free hero arena pack featuring the first two arenas.
