Being that EA kind of spoiled the surprise by sending out Army of Two t-shirts to journalists last week we kind of knew this game was coming, but now we have the full details. EA (specifically EA Montreal) has announced a sequel to Army of Two, subtitled “The 40th Day.” The game is in development for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PSP to debut this winter.
“When a disaster of epic proportions strikes Shanghai, China, Rios and Salem find themselves right in the middle of it all—the wrong place, the wrong time, but the right team. A carefully orchestrated series of mysterious catastrophes is dragging Shanghai to the brink of ruin, and now the Army of Two must fight their way through ravaged city districts as they try to beat the odds and uncover the secret of the 40th Day.”
The game is set to once again bring innovative co-op gameplay as well as brand new co-op moves that can be used at any time, and customizable weapons. More details are sure to be on the way, so stay tuned to GPU!
