Scratch: The Ultimate DJ Peripheral

Genius Inc. has debuted the peripheral deck for Scratch: The Ultimate DJ today. Made by Numark, the controller (seen above) will be on display at E3 next week for fans to get a hands-on with a game that is highly anticipated from those who are ready for more hip hop/DJ-based games. The deck features a free-spinning turntable and crossfader as well as well as five MPC-style drum pads.

“For decades, Numark has been developing turntables, DJ mixers and digital DJ controllers. We know what professional DJs demand, and we used that knowledge to produce SCRATCH DECK,” said Adam Cohen, Director of Business Development, Numark. “It was critical that we deliver an authentic DJ experience to gamers, whether they be experienced DJs or players who have never put a needle to vinyl.”

So far this looks to be a bit better than Activision’s DJ Hero deck, but only a hands-on comparison will give the true results. Stay tuned for more information.

More Fallout 3 DLC On the Way, PS3 DLC Coming Soon

Bethesda has done a great job at keeping the DLC coming for Fallout 3 on 360, and more (including all DLC for the PS3) is coming in the near future. Operation Anchorage will be coming to the PS3 in late June, with The Pitt and Broken Steel following 4-6 weeks apart.

Also Bethesda announced details of two new DLC adventures coming to the 360 and PC beginning in late June.

  • Point Lookout – (Late June) Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.
  • Mothership Zeta – (July) The aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.

Both of these packs will be 800 Microsoft points and will be available through Xbox Live or Games for Windows Live.

Also coming later this year will be a Fallout 3 game of the year edition for the PS3, 360, and PC which will contain the main game and all five DLC items. Stay tuned for more information!
