Anarchy Reigns Teaser Trailer

Sega and PlatinumGames have debuted the teaser for their newest game, Anarchy Reigns. The game is an online multiplayer brawler with a familiar character, Jack from Platinum’s MadWorld.

“With ANARCHY REIGNS, PlatinumGames will be using their hallmark creativity and technical excellence to challenge the boundaries of the conventional brawler genre by allowing multiple players to get involved in heavy-hitting action simultaneously. ANARCHY REIGNS incorporates a diverse range of multiplayer modes to provide players with different challenges, including Tag Team battles and Battle Royal, where players can challenge others in a full-on fight for victory.”

L.A. Noire Release Date Announced, Serial Killer Trailer Debuted

L.A. Noire finally has a release date. Rockstar’s newest game showcases outstanding facial animations, a compelling narrative, and looks to be one of 2011’s most original games. Rockstar has announced the game will hit stores on May 17th, and has debuted the second trailer, see below. Enjoy!

Brink Developer Diary 5 – Audio Design

Brink is by far one of my most anticipated games of the year, and every drop of information I get is a good drop of information. After having hands-on with the game at last September’s Penny Arcade Expo I was hooked. Bethesda has just debuted the newest developer diary featuring Chris Sweetman discussing the game’s audio development. You can catch the diary write-up over at Bethblog (linky), the video below was an accompaniment to the diary called “A Choir of Guns.” Enjoy!

Portal 2 Steam Features Detailed for PS3

When Gabe Newell appeared at E3 letting PS3 fans know that Portal 2 on Playstation would be the ultimate version fans were skeptical, but according to a press release by Valve this promise may shape up to be true. In the release Valve details some of the features of Steamworks on the PS3 version of Portal 2, namely the fact that you will be able to:

“drop the Blu-Ray disc in the PS3, link to their Steam account from inside the game, and all their Steam friends (on PC and Mac) will be visible and accessible for chat and game invites.” as Project Lead Josh Weier states.

Along with the Steamworks support, if you purchase the PS3 version of the game you will automatically get a PC or Mac version just for linking your PSN account on Steam. The game will also include cross-platform play and cloud storage for saves.

Valve may be just getting started on PS3, but it sure is a strong beginning.
