2K Games has released a brand new Bioshock 2 trailer for all to enjoy entitled “Siren Alley.” Enjoy!

During Take-Two’s second quarter results conference call CEO Ben Feder announced that Bioshock 2 will hit stores November 3rd in the United States and October 30th in Europe. The game is set to launch on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC so you can look forward to hunting Big Sister around Halloween (costume not included, 23 year-olds should not trick or treat).
The folks over at IGN have a brand new 9 minute walkthrough of Bioshock 2 called “Hunting the Big Sister.” Check it out!

When it was first announced BioShock 2 would have multiplayer, many wondered how it would be handled and if it would take away from the single player development. 1up has posted a bit of information that should clear a few things up.
The multiplayer part of the game is being worked on by Digital Extremes (Dark Sector and PS3 version of BioShock). Also, the multiplayer will act as a prequel to the first game where players are Plasmid test subjects for Sinclair Solutions. You can earn experience points to unlock new weapons, plasmids, and tonics. Anyone that played the first game should be able to recognize the multiplayer arenas since they are redesigned version of the first game’s levels. Finally, according the the press release, progression through the mode will begin to reveal the fall of Rapture.
Sounds like they are doing something creative with the multiplayer. Look for more details to surface during E3.

GameTrailers TV has just ended on Spike TV and the first gameplay footage of Bioshock 2 has made its debut. Check it out below, it is looking good!
Update 2: This rumor has been debunked by 2K. We’ll bring you full detail as soon as we get our hands on the magazine ourselves.
Update: We’re going to run this one under “Rumor” until we get the magazine for ourselves.
As we mentioned earlier this week, the newest issue of Game Informer features a 10 page spread on Bioshock 2. The magazine is just beginning to make its way into consumers’ hands and, of course, they have been “kind” enough to post details all over the web.
From the details provided, Bioshock 2 is set to have some sort of co-op play, and will feature no Big Daddies. The story is set 7 years after the initial event in Rapture and follows a man named Jack Abbott, who has had his daughter kidnapped by a Big Sister. Abbott follows and tracks the Big Sister and upon confrontation gets knocked out and wakes up in the infamous Rapture. While searching for his daughter Abbott uncovers knowledge that the Soviets have discovered Rapture and plan to use its Atom against the United States. Jack proceeds to try to save the day, and his daughter in the process.
A host of new characters and even spliced up animals join the mix, along with some great new plasmids. Look for more details in the April issue of Game Informer on newsstands soon! Stay tuned to GPU for more on Bioshock 2!

At long last we will finally get some hard facts on the highly anticipated Bioshock 2. Game Informer has just revealed the cover of their April issue and it features (as you can see above, full image below) a very creepy, more-agile-than-a-big-daddy Big Sister.
“Here it is! The April issue of Game Informer Magazine, featuring Bioshock 2! That’s right, the title that rocked the game world just two years ago is back and looking more amazing than ever. We’ve got a full 10-page spread with tons of exclusive info and art on the return to Rapture.”
We look forward to reading the new information, and seeing what consoles the game will be out for and when we can have it in our hands (given that they release all that in one article). Also if you have not yet, check out the Bioshock 2 viral site http://www.somethinginthesea.com/ it is very interesting. Stay tuned for more information!
