I managed to rent Fight Night Round 4 this weekend. At first I was skeptical of the new punch stick, but as I have played it I am totally blown away by how intense the game is. You feel that at any moment (even on easy) the fight could end one way or another.
One of the cooler features the game offers is replay editing and uploading to EA.com. I wanted to post two videos of replays I uploaded (these are in-game with me playing). Enjoy!
EA has announced that the fans of the Fight Night series have unanimously voted to have both Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson as the cover athletes for Fight Night Round 4, coming later this year. Now players and fans can see who would win in a battle, Tyson or Ali (no ear biting allowed).
“Muhammad Ali, the most celebrated boxer of all time, was famous for his quick tongue and his even quicker hands that wore down his opponents fight after fight. Ali was the first fighter in history to win the undisputed heavyweight championship three times, and is highly revered for his contribution to the sport of boxing. Mike Tyson, a knock out legend, will join Ali on the cover. The youngest boxer ever to win a heavyweight championship, Tyson enthralled the world with his precision, power, and ability to put away his opponents in the first round. These two boxing icons finally come face to face in Fight Night Round 4.”
The game is being developed by EA Canada and will hit stores this summer.
