Details have just come in (via Playstation Blog) about a new Metal gear Online DLC pack coming in March. Entitled the “Scene” expansion, the pack will contain three new maps and also will make Vamp and Raiden playable characters.

The maps are Outer Outlet, which is a commercial mall area, Hazard House, a three story mansion, and finally Ravaged Riverfront, the eastern European area from Act III of Metal gear Solid 4. The addition of Vamp and Raiden as playable characters brings special skills with each of them. Details are still scarce but PS Blog mentioned a few tidbits:

“First is Vamp, knife-expert extraordinaire. You may be able to defeat him once, but that’s no guarantee he won’t be back for more! Second is Raiden, whose appearance belies his extraordinary skill and agility in combat. They are formidable opponents, or one of them can be a great ally to have on your team. Yes, you will indeed be able to have a multiplayer battle between Raiden and Vamp, which is a fun as it looks!”

PS Blog promises a trailer for the pack next week, along with more details soon to come. Also those who pre-order the pack a week prior to release from Konami online will receive a box to wear as a helmet for their player. Stay tuned to GPU for all of the updates and check out the images below!
