Twisted Pixel (The Maw) has just dropped the first trailer for their upcoming XBLA game entitled “‘Splosion Man.” Check out the trailer below and gauge for yourself what the game will be like. TP has confirmed that there will be 50 single player levels along with 50 unique 4-player co-op levels. The game is shaping up well, can’t wait to see more.
Twisted Pixel Brings “Speeder Lane” to The Maw on April 29th
Twisted Pixel has announced the final DLC for The Maw on XBLA, Steam, Greenhouse, and Direct 2 Drive. The pack is entitled “Speeder Lane” and will release on April 29th for 100 MSP or $1.25. The third and final DLC for The Maw brings vehicle driving and explosive action.
“This is the third of three DLC levels that Twisted Pixel Games has been working on ever since The Maw development wrapped last year. “With Speeder Lane we went in the opposite direction from our previous DLC. In Brute Force and River Redirect we really wanted to push the puzzle elements, but Speeder Lane is all about tearing around on a speeder bike blowing stuff up,” explains Lead Designer Sean Riley.”

Twisted Pixel Announces ‘Splosion Man for XBLA
Twisted Pixel, the developers behind The Maw, have announced their next Xbox Live Arcade venture called “‘Splosion man.” There aren’t a ton of details yeat but from what has been mentioned the game revolves around, you guessed it, ’splosions.
The game is set to launch on XBLA and will be a platformer. Twisted Pixel has stated that the main gameplay element will be running around blowing things up with ’splosions (tired of that yet?). Here’s the official word from Twisted Pixel:
Yesterday’s announcement of ‘Splosion Man was tongue-in-cheek in the spirit of April Fool’s Day, but today we’re making the “official” announcement that we are indeed working on a 2.5D action/platformer based around the simple concept of ’splosions and the ridiculousness that ensues.
‘Splosion Man will have up to 4 player co-op multiplayer, local and online, a story mode chock full of hilarious cinemas seamlessly integrated into gameplay, epic boss battles, and it’s coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade. No release date or price details at this time.
The game sounds unique and we’re looking forward to learning more about it.
