Naughty Dog has just announced that Uncharted 2 will be releasing in the U.S. on October 13th. Nathan Drake will once again find himself in a National Treasure-like struggle to prevent the destruction of the world (minus John Voight). As you can see by the box art above Nathtan will be doing a lot of ledge climbing.

Also mentioned in the press release are the pre-order goodies, Best Buy pre-orders will get gold guns for the newly added multiplayer modes, Amazon.com pre-orders will receive a Treasure Map that apparently shows hidden items in the game, and Game Crazy gets a currency multiplier that gives players more money in multiplayer for a short time, and GameStop customers will get access to a multiplayer demo that begins on September 9th (September 30th for everyone else).
